Summary of role:

This is a fast paced role in an exciting environment. The Account Manager is responsible for relationships with existing global customers. In this role, the Account Manager will receive training and develop a deep knowledge of products, solutions and industry drivers in assigned market segment. With this knowledge, the Account Manager will help customers solve their problems and grow their business. It is a rewarding role. Daily activities include driving customer satisfaction and engagement. Renewals and revenue growth from add on products are also an important focus. A typical day may include business reviews with customers, quotations, presentations and helping customers with questions. In addition to these duties, the Account Manager will assist the Senior Account Manager and Business Development Manager in assigned market with scheduling meetings, presentations, managing evaluations and all administrative tasks associated with the job.

The Account Manager will keep management informed of progress and perform duties with little ongoing supervision. He or she will also coordinate activities with other departments and entities to ensure timely and efficient service to each customer.

This position requires a person who is highly selfmotivated, possesses, excellent telephone and face-to-face skills and can demonstrate features and functions of software. He or she must also possess good problemsolving skills, easily develop relationships, and is detail oriented.

Essential skills/experience:
2-year degree or equivalent experience
Experience with Business Development activities
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
In a previous role has demonstrated an ability to:
To communicate with leaders
Drive revenues, build a sales plan and execute on that plan
Take a small/large sale through a sales pipeline
Learn and explain complex software features easily
Engage with people from different backgrounds and cultures and develop business from those engagements
Take on challenges as learning experiences
Flexible in the working style to meet the business challenges

Desired skills/experience:
Experience in the testing and assessment market
Experience with sales of a Software as a Service (SaaS)
Experience with learning
Knowledge and experience of assessment technologies and methodologies
Successful experience working in a high-tech company in a similar role
Proven ability to:
Influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Set realistic expectations in order to meet and exceed customers and/or partners expectations
