TEXMAC, Inc. seeks a highly driven, vision-oriented Automation Sales Engineer to join our close-knit, collaborative team. In this new role you will be responsible for the development and growth of our Factory Automations Projects line. Our business consists of selling multi-pronged, engineered solutions for factory automation opportunities. The successful Automation Sales Engineer will work in tandem with our product groups and factory automation integrators to develop our customer base, and find, advise, and sell automation projects.

This brand new opportunity is geared toward a hunter, someone who is not afraid to make the calls and face-to-face visits necessary to ask for and win business. This role allows for your creative molding as you lay the foundation for the development of this position. Working directly with the General Manager, and President, your input will be actively sought and the successful trajectory of this role is self-managed. The right Automation Sales Engineer has a minimum of three years relevant sales experience, an ability to travel up to 50% annually within the US, and strong technical acumen skills. To the Automation Sales Engineer we offer:

Base salary of $65,000 - $75,000 commensurate with experience

Duties and Responsibilities for Automation Sales Engineer Include:

Meet with current customer base to find, advise, and sell automation projects
Work with factory automation integrators on automation projects for customers
Identify and cultivate strategic relationships
Effectively conduct customer presentations
Research suitable solutions and estimate costs and timescales
Liaising with others in the design team, clients, and contractors
Follow up quotations with technical support, commercial negotiations, and additional pertinent information
Promote robotics systems to factory automation integrators
Liaison with robotics supplier for sales of robot systems
Other duties as needed for success

Requirements for Sales Representative Include:

A minimum of 3 years' sales experience in factory automation projects and preferably working with a factory automation integrator
Analytical and technical mindset
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with a CRM system and the ability to learn new technology preferred
Presentation, verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work successfully autonomously as well as collaboratively
Superb relationship management and organizational skills
Undergo a background check
A valid drivers license, auto insurance, and vehicle
