O. Berk Company is seeking an ambitious Account Executive Personal Care Group in the Greater New York City metropolitan area to join our high-energy organization. The Account Executive will be tasked with generating profitable sales growth by managing key accounts and developing new business. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial personality and will excel working autonomously. You will have the benefit of working for a sales-first organization with no limits on your ability to sell and succeed. While rigid packaging experience and knowledge of the personal care and cosmetics marketplace is preferred, we are willing to train seasoned sales professionals on the nuances of our industry.

The right candidate will have 3 years of sales experience selling to Fortune 5000 sized accounts, will have the tenacity required to close deals, and will have the detail-oriented mindset necessary to solve complex and technical problems. We are looking for SUPERSTAR sales professionals with:
Demonstrable BUSINESS ACUMEN meaning, you can bring together the working parts of the sell cycle and close the deal
Recognized TENACITY meaning you understand that selling starts after you hear NO
History of effective use of a VALUE SELLING METHODOLOGY to create a business case for taking business from a competitor
Verifiable experience selling to high level/executive positions in VERY COMPETITIVE situations
Ability to bring in 15 NEW ACCOUNTS in first 18 months
Documented history of TOP SALES PERFORMANCE
Past earnings history of AT LEAST $90-100,000

Essential Responsibilities for the Account Executive Personal Care Group:
Sell packaging and packaging components to the beauty and personal care industries
Develop new business and maintain current key accounts
Meet goals for prospect pipeline, number of calls, and other prospecting behavioral measurements
Work closely with Sales Management Team, Business Directors, and Customer Service staff to serve customer needs
Become a sustained resource through value-added sales capabilities
Interface with Supply Chain, Product Managers, Marketing, and Production as necessary
Limited overnight travel as necessary (5%)
Attend semi-regular sales meetings at our Union, NJ facility
