WHO WE WORK WITH
We work with small specialty contractors and architects as well as large firms such as Turner, Tishman, and Structuretone. We also work directly with churches, homeowners, and other building owners acting without a contractor. Our projects use wheelchair lifts and other accessibility equipment of all sizes and prices.

THE ROLE:
The Sales Representative / Sales Engineer is the primary technical sales resource for Handi-Lift. The sales representative at Handi-Lift is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales and operations management team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. You must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. In the role you must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
Other Sales Representative / Sales Engineer duties:

Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations
Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
Manage entire sales process - prospecting, qualifying, specifying, closing accounts
Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Able to travel throughout sales territory.
Data entry, generally Excel and CRM-based.
Participate in sales meeting



THE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong negotiation skills
Proficient on computers
Strong mechanical comprehension and reasoning skills
Previous construction or related industry experience a plus
Minimum three years experience in a sales
Commitment to the highest degree of ethics and integrity in all of your internal and external relationships.
Desire to go the extra mile for your clients and prospects.
Good phone demeanor and high-energy personality.
Experience with CRM programs.
Understanding of construction methods and processes
