Job Description

The Automotive Solutions Specialist will maintain, develop and secure business develop opportunities within the Central Minnesota region; specifically Alexandria, Brainerd and St. Cloud markets. Coverage will also include related outstate geographies tied to these cities. The role will focus on a combination of existing accounts, partially-developed [SOW] accounts and new account development requirements. The Automotive Solutions Specialist will be responsible for a multi-level development approach, including: -Lubricant programs [OEM, Supplier-branded] -Cleaner and vehicle detail programs -Equipment installation and repair services -Recycling services [eg used oil, used filters, used absorbents] -Car Wash equipment solutions -ecommerce development -Route and delivery efficiency In conjunction, this person will need to demonstrate a strong ability to communicate Company-driven strategies that help improve the Customer experience with Lube-Tech. This person should be open-minded, performance-driven, forward-thinking and confident.

Key Responsibilities for the Position:

Develop new account activity through internal/external lead generation and prospecting
Service existing accounts, trouble-shoot issue and provide timely follow-up
Analyze JDE sales reporting; identify gaps, variances and/or gains
Improve our Customers experience with ecommerce and add additional ecommerce Customers
Develop and manage an effective sales pipeline via CRM [please apply online]
Demonstrate ability to ask questions regarding Customer/Prospect needs and requirements
Collaborate closely with internal Automotive Account Manager related to all territory activities
Monitor competition by gathering current market intel and sharing with Sales Management
Develop industry knowledge by: Attending educational workshops, Establishing professional networks, Actively participate in industry-related Associations [eg MADA]
Active participant in Company functions and events
Work well within team atmosphere and possess a positive attitude
Qualifications:

Bachelor or technical college degree
5+ years related work experience within one of the following: Lubricant Distribution [eg PCMO/PVL], Automotive Dealership Parts and/or Service, Automotive Tire Installer network
Microsoft Excel [Advanced] related to pivot tables and data analysis
Strong communication skills, strong organizational skills
Candidate must reside in the central Minnesota area
