Maintenance Sales Representative

The Opportunity

Harris Companies, is in search of a Sales Representative to join our expanding and energetic sales team. This fast paced organization has a proven track record and has a superior management team with a wealth of sales knowledge that is committed to training and career growth within the company. The Sales Representative will report directly to the Sales Manager.


Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

Achievement of company sales goals and profitability.
Identify new business opportunities by direct cold calling, lead qualification, and referral follow-up.
Influence and articulate key business solutions in an effective and persuasive manner which mobilizes others into action to close the sale.
Embrace a proven sales process from cold call to close.
Gain a solid understanding of mechanical systems to accurately appraise and inventory systems components, evaluate general conditions to recommend the appropriate maintenance program.
Increase existing customer maintenance coverage and / or other services.
Superior and compelling sales presentations


The successful candidate must have the following skills and qualifications

3+ years of proven sales success working with C-Level management B2B
Post-secondary education is an asset
Prefers working in an environment offering process and structure
A true hunter that gets energized by cold calling prospective new customers
Strong ability to think on your feet
Ability to build rapport and trust quickly
Solid comfort level with the ability to cold call/telephone skills
Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Strong listening and questioning skills
A proactive self-starter who can operate as part of a team and individually
Vehicle is a requirement of this position (monthly allowances are offered)
Geographical knowledge of surrounding areas
Must be comfortable with heights, climbing ladders and working outdoors
Proficient with computers and Microsoft suite of products



Compensation/Benefits
