We are currently seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to help us grow to the next level. This is a new position so having proven success building a sales team in the marketing solutions industry is a prerequisite. This position reports to the company president and is stationed in our Whitehouse, NJ headquarters.

Responsibilities for this position:

As an experienced Sales Manager, we expect you to be able to articulate a specific plan to mentor, train, and support your team of 4 sales reps who range in experience from entry level to a 20 year rain-maker.

You will use your strong knowledge of strategic sales and be capable of creating an environment of accountability and goal setting.

You will evaluate our current sales structure, strategy and target markets and adjust them accordingly for growth while being able to maintain current sales.

Youll work closely with your sales team and act as a liaison between sales and the rest of the organization providing any necessary support, guidance and training to your team.

You will analyze and qualify business opportunities, making sure they are in alignment with the organizations goals.

Annually conduct development reviews for your team as well as quarterly check-ins.

Required Skills and Experience

Being highly organized, detail oriented and having excellent communication skills are absolute musts for this position.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of intimate knowledge in advertising and marketing sales processesincluding use of cold calling, social media, networking, responding to RFPs, writing proposals, creating presentations and more.

You have experience building a sales team in the marketing solutions industry selling Business to Business (B2B) products or services, and have the practical knowledge of what sales strategies work and should be followed in that type of market.
