MMI Dining Services LLC seeks a driven and experienced sales leader for our Vice President of Sales - Dining Services position. MMI Dining is a family-owned and operated business with 59 years of expertise in the dining services industry. We are a renowned contract food and service management company proudly servicing cafeterias, hospitals and schools in the Southeastern US. The Vice President of Sales will report directly to the President to support our mission of providing dining services with unmatched quality, delivery, efficiency, and value to meet the needs of our clients.

The right candidate will have contract food service management experience, a history of successful sales team development and a relationship approach to prospecting business. Our smaller size organization allows us to work intimately with our customers to create custom services, and to be agile with our internal development and strategies. We have aggressive goals for expansion, and our highly collaborative, committee-managed decision making enables us to achieve our vision.

The ideal candidate is charismatic, with astute analytical skills and the ability to adapt to multiple environments. The Vice President of Sales will lead a team of sales representatives to establish sales goals, create plans and strategies for enhancing business, and strengthen business development. Our division operates a diverse group of food service facilities across the Southeast, providing a strategic network of professionals to support our customers. Our clients include K-12 private schools, senior communities, colleges/universities, hotels, clubs, and food and beverage operations. Duties and Responsibilities of the Vice President of Sales:

Enhance the business development teams capability by coaching, performance management, and development
Develop and implement business development strategy to define market area and establish potential customer base
Analyze and control expenditures, recommend or approve specific budget appropriations as necessary
Develop customer proposal meeting individual customer objectives and goals
Support sales representatives with presentations and establish routine customer programs through calls, telecommunications and MMI information updates
50% overnight travel required
Additional duties as needed for success

Qualifications of the Vice President of Sales:

Bachelors degree
5 years experience managing a sales team
Experience selling in the contract foodservice business
VP experience preferred
Exceptional leadership skills and results oriented
Possess tactical planning and persuasive selling skills
Team builder and performance manager
