Hippo Manager Software, Inc. is dedicated to delivering high quality veterinary practice management software to animal health professionals. Hippo Manager provides veterinary clinics with web-based software designed to enhance all aspects of clinic operation; including medical charting, scheduling, inventory, billing, client communications and more.

Clinics use us because we provide industry leading customer service along with unbeatable pricing a robust set of useful features. Hippo manager appeals to mobile clinics due to it being cloud based but we also appeal to a variety of types, specialties and sizes. We offer all clinics a 30 day free trial with no obligation which is part of the reason we've signed so many already this year.

We are looking for someone with the true entrepreneurial spirit, willing to work in a fast paced environment with no limits on their earning potential. As one of our U.S. Account Managers you are responsible for the sale and promotion of our software to the US veterinary market. This position requires the ability to learn and retain technical product information and to be able to communicate this knowledge to veterinarians, technicians and purchasing agents. In addition, you will be responsible for building a client base. All of our sales people work from home and on their own terms. Complete training is provided.

First year income potential is between 60k 100k with each subsequent year an additional 20% to 50% depending on performance. Please note that this is an independent contractor position and therefore no salary or benefits can be provided.

Strategic Responsibilities:

Meet established sales goals
Set a vision for sales force that aligns the field sales organization around the company vision and strategic plans.
Provide support and collaboration on Marketing activity to align sales and channel strategies in the accomplishment of brand specific marketing strategies.
Implement sales strategy & drive performance.
Provide feedback to senior leadership on market trends, competition and field sales execution.


Tactical Responsibilities:

Frequent sales calls to customer veterinarians, clinics, hospitals and remote meetings.
Ensure accurate updating of Hippo's CRM
Work in coordination and in support of the executive team.
Report weekly activity and lead progress to the sales director
Responsible for monthly/quarterly/yearly sales forecast and assist with purchasing and sales planning activities.
All other duties as assigned.


Additional Requirements:

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Good presentation skills and computer competency.
The ability to understand and successfully sell technical products.
Experience selling in an aggressive outside sales environment.
