Overview of Position: Responsible for cultivating managing, and growing an assigned sales territory,
presenting and selling Montana Silversmiths product lines, soliciting orders to exceed established
revenue goals while representing the company in accordance with its policies. Actively traveling the
assigned territory to work in the store or on location with retail partners maintaining an awareness
of regional competitive conditions.

Job Requirements/Responsibilities:

Maintain and increase the sales volume, customer awareness and brand integrity of assigned

Secure placement of Montana Silversmiths products at customers within the territory.

Aggressively solicit orders, while seeking additional business opportunities from present

Develop additional business through constant field presence, seeking out prospective
accounts and potential business within the territory.

Develop sales forecasts and projections, in conjunction with management, and to be
accountable for the attainment of such.

Interact with, and assist, existing accounts in the development and implementation of
promotional programs and product introductions, coordinating these efforts with broader
Montana Silversmiths strategies.

Formulate and outline an annual sales analysis of the territory and aggregate forecast
of product, including targeted current, prospective, and pull-through accounts.

Serve as liaison between accounts and the corporate office, ensuring clear channels of
communication for all parties, operating promptly at all times, with integrity and the best
interests of the company and account in mind.

Consult with accounts to recognize their requirements, then supply industry and territory
advice to provide direction and strategies to best utilize the brands within the region.

Assist present and prospective accounts in adopting Montana Silversmiths products based on
strategic and competitive advantages offered by Montana Silversmiths.

Continue to seek out new uses, applications, and avenues for Montana Silversmiths products
with present and prospective accounts.

To be alert to, and promptly report to management, any and all competitive products,
merchandising advantages and marketing practices.

Address and process account complaints in accordance with company policy advising and
involving management of any situations beyond the scope of your authority promptly.

Actively support marketing and merchandising programs adopted and promoted by Montana

Recommend the addition of new products, modification or the elimination of existing products
to the lines as appropriate.

Synthesize and promptly submit a weekly itinerary and call report, which details the
important conversations, sales calls, and presentations that occurred in your territory.

Accurately report any expenses incurred in the pursuit of company interests and promptly
submit such report with the required supporting documentation, while managing and
controlling T&E costs to remain within budget guidelines.

Prepare and promptly submit the required analyses and audits of sales to present and
prospective accounts in accordance with company procedures.

As business conditions require, install, prepare and maintain or disassemble, move, store
or relocate Montana Silversmiths display cases to optimize branding efforts while
accelerating sales.

Submit any special reports regarding the operation of the territory, acceptance of the
product lines, or competitive conditions as may be requested.

Comply with all company policies, instructions, and directives in pursuit of the fulfillment
of company objectives, always cognizant to maximize the profitability of each sale.

Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, trade shows, conventions as
directed and travel as necessary.

Maintain an awareness of likely candidates that may serve to improve the sales force and to
call these individuals to the attention of management.

Responsible for working within a travel budget that has been established and approved by the CEO
and Director of Sales, and delivering profitable revenue on all sales.
Responsible for creating and preparing written progress reports after every event to the CEO and
Director of Sales.
