We sell our products through a nationwide network of audio visual, cabling, and commercial furniture dealers. Cambridge Sound Management is a growing, profitable company located just outside of Boston.

We are currently looking for an Eastern Regional Sales Manager based in the east coast near a major airport. The Regional Sales Manager will oversee all sales activity within the region. This position requires travel up to 75%.

The Regional Sales Manager will:
Report to Director, Americas Field Sales
Manage and develop network of Manufacturers Reps and Dealers in the region
Manage pipeline of sales leads to effectively track and support strategic development of markets
Identify and close new AV and Bicsi dealers as well as growing existing ones
Set and meet annual target and maintains profitability for territory, targeting and pursuing specific markets
Develop and maintain forecast of sales opportunities in database
Provide timely and accurate account reporting in database
Administer pricing policies and lists with support of inside sales and in compliance with pricing policies
Assist in development of pricing strategies
Attract, train and introduce new dealers to products and company
Develop relations with specifiers: architects, engineers, owners, contractors, and distributors in region
Report competitive information to company
Support all departments: technical support, particularly problem resolution; new products and marketing efforts; supports credit department
Support dealers at regional and national trade shows and events to promote products
Provide periodic performance feedback to Manufacturers Reps and Dealers and conduct end of year performance reviews
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:
A unique blend of skills, both technical and customer/sales-oriented
Strong work ethic, efficiency and attention to detail are imperative
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals in a channel sales environment
Ability to manage multi-party sales scenarios for larger sales
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, growth environment
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to juggle simultaneous, high-priority projects
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively listen to both internal and external teams
Strong written and verbal presentation skills and ability to listen and interpret customer requests
Self motivated and ability to arrange own work schedule and travel details
Experience with acoustics, audio systems, commercial electronics, security systems, AV equipment required
Experience working with CRM/Database experience required, NetSuite preferred
Ability to travel within the region and work remotely out of a home office
