Outside Sales Representative
McHone Industries, Inc. - Salamanca, New York
Job Title/Location Sales & Business Development
For four decades, McHone Industries, Inc. has specialized in the design, manufacturing, fabrication, and finishing of tubular and sheet metal products. The McHone team of more than 150 associates are skilled in the area of tube manufacturing, robotic welding, laser cutting, powder coating, stamping, CNC bending and fabrication of tubular and sheet metal components, weldment and final assemblies.
Our customers are primarily domestic OEM companies who produce consumer goods that require tubular steel handles, stampings, weldments or complete products packaged for distribution. Some of our notable customers have been Fisher Price, Mattel, Cutco Cutlery, Shop Vac and Ames True Temper, to name a few.
Responsibilities
Service existing customers with regular visits
Identify, qualify and close new business opportunities
Weekly updates regarding customer information, new opportunities and plans
Monthly presentation to Business Management Team regarding activities.
Qualifications
We are looking for an energetic sales person who has strong presentation skill with a proven track record. You must have the vision, motivation, and creativity to deliver results. Existing contact network fitting our customer profile.
Minimum of 3 years outside sales experience.
Servicing existing customers through phone, email, and on site visits.
Develop sales forecasts for existing customers.
Develop forecast for new customer development.
Well organized, and detail and multitask oriented. Attentive, reliable, personable, and self-motivated.
Able to identify opportunities for growth and expansion. Established track record in the industry.
Compensation
Negotiable Base (starting at $50,000 - $60,000)
