Mill-Max Mfg. Corp., a leading manufacturer of machined pin interconnect components, is looking for candidates to participate in our On-the-Job Training Program in Applications Engineering, Technical Marketing and Outside Sales/ Account Management. You will be trained to support sales and marketing efforts by working with customers on technical questions to help them solve their interconnection challenges. You will create proposal drawings, initiate pricing proposals, facilitate the sales engineer/customer relationship, and take on special projects as required.

It is likely you will have a Bachelors degree in a technical field, although we will consider good people with other educational backgrounds who can demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, such as the ability to read a basic blue print or schematic. Prior work experience is a plus but not required.

Since this work involves regular communication with customers, Mill-Max colleagues, vendors and others, we require those who will speak clearly, spell correctly and compose grammatically correct sentences. You will need verbal and written communication skills that optimize Mill-Maxs reputation by being both persuasive and helpful.

You will need to be computer savvy and have a good background in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

After one year of training you will be evaluated and placed in one of three potential career tracks; Applications Engineering, Product Marketing, or Outside Sales and Territory Management. Candidates who successfully complete our training program will need to show an ability to work independently and with focus. You will also need to keep multiple simultaneous projects organized. You will need to be dependable, on time and have the ability to follow-up and follow through. Domestic (and possibly international) travel may be required.

During your introductory period you will accrue vacation time and after six months you will be eligible for our 401(k) and profit sharing program.
