We sell our products through a nationwide network of audio visual, cabling, and commercial furniture dealers. Cambridge Sound Management is a growing, profitable company located just outside of Boston.

We are currently looking for a National Account Manager based in our Waltham Corporate office. The National Account Manager will report to the Director, Americas Field Sales and oversee all sales activity for our major accounts.

The National Account Manager will:
Manage and build Steelcase relationship to meet or exceed revenue targets
May be called upon to manage other significant Major Accounts or channel partners
Manage pipeline of sales leads to effectively track and support strategic development of markets
Visit key Steelcase dealers and collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Field Sales Engineers to deliver trainings and account service
Develop and maintain forecast of sales opportunities in database
Personally target, develop and manage relationships with 3-5 large end-users in support of our channel
Provide timely and accurate account reporting in database
Administer pricing policies and lists with support of inside sales and in compliance with pricing policies
Report competitive information to company
Support all departments: technical support, particularly problem resolution; new products and marketing efforts; supports credit department
Support appropriate events and tradeshows with attendance and selling (NeoCon)
Provide quarterly and annual feedback to Steelcase and other accounts
Support VP of Sales on other projects as required
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:
Experience working with Steelcase or other similar office furniture dealers
Experience working with construction timelines and those involved (contractors, architects, consultants, etc.)
A unique blend of skills, both technical and customer/sales-oriented
Strong work ethic, efficiency and attention to detail are imperative
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
Ability to manage multi-party sales scenarios for larger sales
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, growth environment
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to juggle simultaneous, high-priority projects
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively listen to both internal and external teams
Strong written and verbal presentation skills and ability to listen and interpret customer requests
Self motivated and ability to arrange own work schedule and travel details
Experience with acoustics, audio systems, commercial electronics, security systems, AV equipment a plus
Experience working with CRM/Database experience required, NetSuite preferred
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
