Position Summary
We are currently seeking a dynamic and aggressive Sales Manager with a desire for success as part of our growth strategy. The Sales Manager is responsible for the operational sales functions, analyze data and actively contribute to ASI achieving sales goals. This position reports directly to the National Sales Director. The successful candidate will have the experience and a proven track record of IT technology and solutions sales growth throughout the United States. You will be responsible for meeting or exceeding performance objectives as established by upper management to include meeting deadlines. Responsible for conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions as appropriate in conjunction with the Corporate Human Resources. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Ensure that the department meets or exceeds its IT sales goals
Execute long and short-term IT sale strategies as directed by upper management
Work with the management team to institute processes and procedures that drive IT sales growth for each sales team member
Excellent communication, presentation and executive presence skills
Develop, train, coach and mentor sales people including Sales Associates and Account Executives
Monitor productivity of sales staff
Accompany Account Executives on critical sales calls; assist in closing sales
Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue pipeline streams in accordance with annual budget forecast
Ensure that the CRM is kept accurate and up-to-date
Exhibit outstanding business leadership skills in directing, leading and participating in business growth and expansion
Demonstrate strong people leadership skills by identifying, nurturing and retaining talented individuals

Minimum Qualifications
4-yr Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent in directly related field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Extensive knowledge of IT sales management is required, preferably in a VAR environment
Must have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of business-to-business consultative sales management experience
Proven ability to develop and manage a successful sales team
Extensive experience in building a successful staff through continual training
Successful track record in developing new business opportunities
Outstanding skills in team leadership, strategic planning and personnel management
Highly competitive and self-motivated with the ability to deliver results quickly
Strong OEM Manufactures Connections
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong customer presentation skills
