FEC Automation Systems, an ISO 9001 certified supplier of stand alone nutrunner components to full turnkey assembly systems, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our growing organization. This position is geared for a true hunter, someone who is not afraid to make the calls and have those face-to-face visits necessary for continuous winning. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has strong prospecting skills, a history of successful closings and excellent account management skills.

We service customers in virtually all industries, which means there is great potential for growth, plus you will be working directly under the VP of Sales. Sandler experience is a plus. If you have a strong working technical knowledge of automation, torque and servo press equipment as well as a proven history of success in sales and the tenacity to go out there to find new business, this position might be right for you.

Base salary plus commission with on target first year earnings of $80,000

Duties and Responsibilities for the Sales Representative:

Prospect and contact potential new, existing and former clients
Customer visits to provide product presentation and preliminary application suggestions
Manage existing accounts
Work with Product Management team to convey customer requirements
Actively participate in direct sales, conference calls, conferences and seminars
Approximately 20% day travel and 50% overnight travel

Qualifications for Sales Representative:

3 plus years experience in automation systems preferred, though recent college grads are welcome
Bachelors Degree
Excellent presentation skills and solid understanding of automotive assembly plant conditions and needs
Drivers license, good driving record and a reliable means of transportation
Proficient computer skills including MS Office. Knowledge of Vista systems a plus
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
