Teletrix is seeking an ambitious and optimistic Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our close knit, innovative team. We provide fully-replicated, dedicated-training versions of radiation detection meters. These radiation training simulators create a hands-on training environment without exposure to live radioactive sources.

The Sales and Business Development Specialist will be responsible for creation of all new business through prospecting, lead conversion and carrying out the final aspects of the sales process. The position is geared for an experienced hunter, someone who thrives on being proactive and enjoys striving to win the business. The right person will have a minimum of 3 years of documented successful business development experience, strong technical acumen, and a solution oriented, positive approach to all situations.

To the Sales and Business Development Specialist we offer:

Monthly base plus commission/bonus compensation. Expected first year on target earnings of a minimum of $100,000

Duties and Responsibilities of the Sales and Business Development Specialist Include:

Prospect via a personal action plan for cold and warm opportunities
Up to 50% overnight and regional travel
Attend 10-15 Tradeshows per year
Create and execute strategies for bringing new products to market
Leverage social media to convert relationships into introductions and appointments
Manage and conduct effective off-site and online Educational Seminars/Webinars
Targeted Email engagement to convert passive interest into active engagement
Work with R&D for product design improvement and innovation
Help to identify and grow alternative channel sales
Communicate with all levels of the buyers team at a peer-to-peer level
Other duties as needed for success

Requirements for Sales and Business Development Include:

Minimum 3 years of Business Development experience
Bachelors Degree
Marketing Experience preferred
Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Fluency in technical language and the ability to communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience
Excellent writing and editing skills
Proficient with all of Microsoft Office Suite
Maintaining a professional appearance and can do positive attitude that is reflective of our business culture
Able to work in an intimate, typically active and open work environment
Valid state drivers license, valid passport, and no impediments to travel on multiple day trips
