INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Seeking an ambitious and driven 6-figure player

About the Position:
As an Inside Sales Representative of Philippi-Hagenbuch, Inc. you will be assigned a multi-state territory to sell Tailgates, Sideboards and Load Ejectors to quarries, construction companies, and off-highway truck dealers. Your responsibility will be to investigate leads, develop customer relationships, and service and sell to existing clients within your territory. You will work through PHILs extensive product and sales training to become well-versed in the PHIL brand, ultimately helping end users to get more out of their off-highway truck fleets by utilizing PHIL products.

Experience Required:

Preferred Sales Experience
oExperience with customer service
oSelling product with long sales cycles
oSelling high dollar products
oSelling over the phone

Preferred Industry Experience
oManufacturing, Construction, Mining, etc.


Average Day In-House (75% of the Year):
Selling Standard Product and Small Parts
Answering in-bound calls that fall into your territory
Expanding PHIL product awareness
Placing prospecting calls each day to potential customers and dealers in your territory
Explaining why PHILs assorted product line could prove to be beneficial to add to their (or their respective customers) equipment
Providing customer support to existing PHIL customers (Part and product support, Installation support, Follow-up with existing customers)
Researching and gaining additional understanding of PHILs product, brand and customers
Networking with existing contacts to establish new leads
Entering in customer interactions into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Performing ROI analysis on client truck fleets


Average Day Traveling (25% of the Year):
Travel to your territory (within the United States)
Meeting and making friends with our valued customers
Seeing first-hand our products in action and the people who use them
Answering questions, asking for feedback
Attending and working at industry trade shows

Territory:
Region within multi-state territory in the United States
To be determined, based on individual experience and qualifications


Range of Product Price:
A typical sale is between $10k to $30k


Sales Cycle:
Standard Product: 1 6 months
Replacement Parts: 1 7 days


Pay Structure of Position:
Base hourly wage of $15.00
Commission on each sale, paid once each month (unlimited, no cap)
Non-exempt, eligible for overtime pay and travel pay
Bonuses for Special Products sales referrals to Special Products Representatives
Total compensation for first year should equate to ~$70,000
Departmental split for effective teamwork
