About the Position
This is a full-time regular remote work position reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
This position will be responsible for the companys Western U.S. territory. The Eastern territory is assigned to the companys other Sales Manager.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for sales of Aloe vera ingredient products to customers within territory. The position works as part of a team that overall provides an exceptional customer experience. The primary focus of this position is to establish new customers, grow sales for accounts, and maintain existing customer accounts.

This is a salaried position, with the opportunity for an annual performance bonus. The position is a remote telecommuting position, 30-50% domestic travel. Prefer if Sales Manager resides in a Western U.S. state. This position is expected to supervise a Sales Representative.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in business, marketing, chemistry, or related business or science field and 5+ years of relevant sales experience or combination
Science background desirable, but not required
Experience in developing and implementing sales programs including sales expansion plans
Experience developing & analyzing sales forecasts and markets
Strong customer service focus, experienced establishing and maintaining customer relationships while maintaining exceptional product knowledge to determine which product would work best for a particular application
Exceptional research skills to identify potential customers
Experience selling ingredients (or similar type sales) and working knowledge of ACT contact management system (or similar), highly desirable

Develops and implements strategic sales plans , forecasts activities, formulates policies, and sets performance goals by analyzing sales statistics
Develops and updates market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and rates
Performs channel development activities and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals within budget
Cold calls potential clients and represents company at trade association meetings/events to promote product
Develops and delivers sales presentations to key clients and maintains relationships to negotiate and close deals
Prepares ongoing ad hoc sales report and may participate in R & D initiatives
