Position Summary:

The Customer Marketing Managers (CMM) purpose is to provide best-in-class marketing support to a specific segment of Monster Energys top accounts and ensure that activation enhances the Monster Energy brand. The CMM reports into the Director of Customer Marketing.

Essential Job Functions:

Working with the relevant Key Account Manager, oversee the promotional calendar for each of the assigned top accounts.
Ensure assigned top accounts receive best-in-class marketing support from Monster Energy and that marketing programs are leveraged to their fullest extent. Programs include but are not limited to: new product launches, exclusive items, product re-launches, price promotions, custom consumer promotions, pass-through sponsorships, and account-specific tradeshows.
Work with Key Account Managers to ensure account-specific sales goals are met and account-specific expenses are in-line with forecasts.
Work with the Marketing Services, Brand Marketing, and Sales to develop account-specific offers and ensure they are up to brand standards and that necessary legal and logistic requirements are met.
Participate in regular Customer Marketing conference calls and quarterly meetings. Prepare and present planned activity as well as share results from program execution.
Working with the Customer Marketing team and Field Marketing team to leverage any account-specific pass-through programs amongst assigned accounts. Pass-through sponsorship offers include but are not limited to: Supercross, Monster Cup, Arenacross, NASCAR team sponsorship, UFC, and Pro Bull Riding.
Work with the Customer Marketing team and Key Account team in the trade throughout the year sharing best practices.
When applicable run point on the creation of account-exclusive items and their affiliated marketing plans working with Sales, New Product Development, Marketing Services, Brand Marketing, and other relevant parties.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5-years of combined experience in the areas of Customer Marketing, Key Account Sales, Field Marketing and Brand Management in the beverage/packaged goods industry.
Must have been with the same firm for a minimum of 2-years with a demonstrated success.
Experience effectively coaching and managing a team of people.
Must have a strong sense of urgency.
Must be detail oriented.
Must be a collaborative team player.
Must be decisive and enforce brand standards.
Ability to travel 10% of the time.
Candidate should possess a bachelors degree in business or marketing.
Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Microsoft Outlook, the Internet and social media.
