If so, you may be a good fit for a position in our company as an Inside Sales Representative for our Columbia Hydronics team.

Columbia Hydronics Company is a division of California Hydronics Corporation (CHC). CHC is a manufacturers representative corporation with a custom fabricated skid division, FlowTherm systems. CHC deals primarily in hydronic heating equipment, steam components, heat transfer equipment, and plumbing accessories. The CHC combined territory includes Northern California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Alaska, Guam and US military installations in Japan and South Korea.

The basic function of the Inside Sales Representative is to promote company products by either inbound or outbound telephone calls. In addition, they provide verbal and written quotes, order entry for the best manufacturers in the industry, and provide support to our outside sales team.

Principle Responsibilities / Duties:

Provide exceptional customer service by telephone, email, and walk-in customers.
Provide service to customers and the Outside Sales Department through inventory inquiry, checking order status, general pricing
& quotations, order entry, and providing basic technical assistance.
Use the opportunity of passive incoming calls to actively generate leads.
Back up answering the phone.
Staying up-to-date on all new product offerings and changes in existing products, and continuously striving to learn the technical aspect of all products offered.
Working with all the departments in the organization to help achieve the companies goals and objectives.
Ship and receive inventory.
Operate forklift.
Miscellaneous warehouse related tasks.
Responsible for administering safety related functions for the facility.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills:

High School Graduate and some college preferred.
Preferred three years of customer service/inside sales experience in hydronic/HVAC equipment sales, distribution or manufacturing and fabrication.
Working knowledge of plumbing and hydronic equipment and applications.
Ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical information to customers and company staff, both verbally and in writing.
Statistical and analytical knowledge using general business and math skills.
General computer experience (MS Windows, Office, etc.)
Ability to prioritize tasks according to company goals and objectives.
Technical ability to gather customer requirements and propose appropriate products and/or solutions.
Ability to the carry/lift load of 25-50lbs.
Education: High School Graduate, college preferred.

Experience: Full Time 1-3 years of experience selling boilers and industrial related equipment preferred.

Salary: Base Salary plus ESOP shares after meeting eligibility and vesting requirements.
