B. B. S. Holding Inc. seeks an ambitious Sales Engineer to join our thriving organization. The Sales Engineer will consultatively sell farm irrigation engineering solutions to our agricultural clients and will help see projects through from concept to implementation. The right candidate must be an independent self-starter with a high attention to detail and will have a customer-focused mindset.

The Sales Engineer reports to and works closely with the CEO of BBS, who has 30 years of industry experience. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career with an established industry leader. Operating as three established companies under the B. B. S. umbrella, we deliver products and services that help our clients feed the nation. The diversified markets of Alsop Pumps & Drilling, Muller Irrigation, and Ag Services allow the company to serve its long-term, core customers in a variety of ways, from irrigation engineering services, irrigation equipment installation and maintenance to fertilizer sales and application. Duties and Responsibilities for the Sales Engineer include:

Consultatively sell agricultural and civil engineering solutions to clients and deliver proposals
Responsible for a successful client-company experience, including engaging in client communications to effectively summarize project requirements
Create construction drawings, perform timely purchase ordering, and is oversee inventory for assigned projects
Travel to customer sites with very occasional overnight travel
Maintain and grow a working knowledge of the products and services of the industry
Assist with operations of Muller Irrigation

Requirements for the Sales Engineer:

Bachelors degree in related engineering field or equivalent engineering experience
Experience presenting and selling engineering projects to clients
Proficiency with Windows operating systems and word and spreadsheet processing systems required
Experience with Visio and AutoCAD
Meet the physical requirements of the position, including working in field conditions, an office environment, and the ability to lift 80 pounds without undue physical exertion
