Manufacturer and wholesaler of specialty apparel are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our sales team.

This is an established Midwest based territory with an immediate six-figure income potential. The states include Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Our company is an industry leader with an entrepreneurial spirit. The ideal candidate is a results-driven, self-starter who thrives in all aspects of selling while working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve sales, marketing, and other company objectives each year through demonstrated in-depth sales principles.
Grow existing accounts through regular planned sales cycles and strategic account visits, and events demonstrating effective communication and follow through. Develops and maintains the most effective routing plan to be adjusted regularly, as needed, to reflect changes in the customer structure within the territory.
Targets, prospects, and opens new accounts that will enhance the company's brand image and standards.
An ability to think ahead and plan over a one-year time span.
Execute three to five sell-ins per year as well as calling on all current customers within the territory with new product launches and promotions.
Achieve sales plans in the territory via collaborative sales planning with manager, and mutually agreed upon goals that align with corporate revenue plans.
Work with sales management and customers to expand retail presentation and improve sell-through performance of our brands.
Influence customer activity, focus, and results.
Reinforce the company's corporate branding and distribution strategy.
Manage customer relationships to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 5 years experience managing a sales territory in an independent, retailer dealer channel, or other B2B environment.
Ability to create and effectively communicate the company vision to customers that will both companies to outstanding levels of performance.
Documented success in building a sales territory.
Account Management skills including timely, consistent, and articulate email, phone, and in-store follow-up.
Disciplined time management professional: must be self-motivated to meet performance goals, and manage deadlines.
Must have modern influencing and consultative selling skills: ability to work effectively with customers, and in a cross-functional internal environment.
Must be able to think creatively and innovate within an independent retailer account structure.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills: must possess positive attitude and the ability to gain trust, respect and credibility with independent business owners.
Proficient in analyzing and reviewing data/selling information using MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
