Matrix is embarking on a significant expansion in terms of deepening the number of new customer relationships within each of its industry verticals, the number of geographic markets, the number of asset classes, and its public facing profile.

The Sales Executive will be responsible for selling our technology solutions to the multifamily and commercial real estate industry. This includes management companies, private and institutional property owners, banks and debt providers, loan originators, developers, and service/product suppliers to the real estate industry.


Full sales cycle, including lead generation, telephone and email prospecting, on-line and in-person meetings and presentations, attend conferences and trade events, preparing proposals and agreements, and closing sales

Selling new services to the installed Yardi client base as well as prospects

Be technically familiar with our product solutions, the competition, the condition of the real estate market(s), and be excellent at promoting company products and solutions

Be highly skilled working with executive level personnel in all-sizes of multi-family and commercial real estate organizations, and with building relationships with trade associations and staffs


2-3 of years of successful sales experience

Entrepreneurial spirit

Bachelors degree or commensurate experience

Willingness to learn sales methodologies and systems

Must also have strong presentation skills

An assertive, engaging personality

Demonstrated record of generating results

Highly ethical and disciplined professionalism

Ability to coordinate/cooperate with other sales teams

Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer relationships

Ability to understand technical products

Ability to travel a minimum of 10%


Proficiency in basic sales principles such as lead generation, opportunity qualification, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closure

Understanding of real property acquisition, development, financing, and management

Familiarity with real estate underwriting practices and the application of Excel and database models for decision support in investment research and analysis.
