Based in our Andover, MA office, Ocean Home Magazine is looking for a talented Inside Sales Representative to sell print and online media to build and expand our worldwide sales. The candidate must be innovative and creative in their approach, and thrive in a fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving to fit the changing landscape of print and digital media.

Our Publication and website, now in its 9th year, is experiencing terrific growth exceeding our expectations at an average rate of 35% in the last 3 years.

If you are a salesperson who has significant advertising sales experience and is a proven professional who can consistently close, likes to use the telephone and social media tools to create new leads and is a proven above average performer in an inside sales position, you don't want to miss out on this job opportunity.

Ocean Home magazine publication has a strong luxury lifestyle brand in a highly-competitive market and we need more sales talent to continue our growth.

The right candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with prior advertising/media sales experience preferred; assertive hunter style sales skills. Prior experience with luxury brand products is advantageous. Also must be high-energy, self-motivated, positive, detail-oriented, organized and have excellent verbal/written communication skills. Job Purpose:
* Generates revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales; recommending new products and services.

* Identifies market potential by qualifying accounts. Must possess a hunter mentality.

* Initiates sales process by using traditional cold calling, implementing email campaign strategies, website generated lead building and understanding account requirements.

* Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts. Maintains account with regular touch points, solid follow-through, and excellent customer service skills.

* Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing and upselling new products and services, and longer term commitments.

* Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts.

* Recommends new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

* Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
