POSITION OVERVIEW

This position will be responsible for driving and managing the North American Sales effort of ClearOnes new VIEW PRO video streaming solutions. The new VIEW PRO solution delivers ultra high quality, 4:4:4 RGB, 24-bit color space encoding for IP networked audio and video, in affordable packages that only ClearOne can deliver. It includes Internet Protocol AV and control technology to distribute AV signals and provide complete control, policy enforcement, and asset management for any size enterprise deployment. Unlike proprietary encoders that restrict users to a walled garden of content and connections, the VIEW Pro family operates over standard H.264 media streams that support an unlimited range of clients, media players, and devices,
including Apple, Microsoft, Adobe, WOWZA, and others.

Our candidate will have prior successful experience leading a national sales organization in the professional and/or commercial audio visual marketplace. Will be responsible for partnering with ClearOne sales managers, channel sales partners, consultants, and executive management. This individual is expected to enter the sales process with a prospect at the highest possible level and must meet or exceed established sales quotas by presenting and selling ClearOne video streaming products. The qualified candidate will have national responsibility for sales planning and accurate forecasting. Extensive travel is required as direct customer contact will comprise a major portion of this position. Candidate must possess strong knowledge of the sales cycle and strong technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process for this new, powerful, and highly advanced and competitive solution set.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experienced in working within an entrepreneurial environment and selling next generation technologies that require an evangelical type sales approach.

Implement a sales management structure and process that insures overachievement of the companies stated goals.

Drive top line growth of the business by leveraging the current customer relationships while establishing new ones, and personally developing these engagements into sustained revenue.

Cultivate a deep knowledge of the audio and video networking industry, understanding the trends and activities affecting customers, and disseminating and utilizing this knowledge within the ClearOne organization and with potential customers.

Track record of scaling a sales force in an early stage business. Preferably with experience growing a revenue stream from very small (less than $5 million) to large (+ $50 million).

Proven success driving revenue through channel and consultant relationships.

Track record of successfully building revenue generating partnerships with the key partners.

Capabilities to create, develop, enhance, implement and execute a comprehensive sales strategy and plan.

Ability to develop, motivate and mentor a sales force capable of setting and meeting ambitious sales goals on a national basis.

Individual must be a team player, solely focused on the total success of the company, as opposed to individual sales success.

Experienced in communicating a companys unique value proposition to potential customers and market influencers through strategic and creative means.

Must have a compelling and verifiable track record of success, as a sales contributor and as an leader.

Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and create, develop, enhance, and execute a comprehensive sales strategy.

Larger company training and discipline with the appropriate transition into successful start-up company experiences.

Ability to create a channel strategy, and successfully execute upon it.

Experienced with building strong channel sales organizations selling hardware and software within the networking and/or systems space.

Exudes strong sales leadership qualities and can energize and motivate team.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

A minimum of 10 years high achievement consultative sales experience with emphasis in selling through channel partners in the field of audio visual technology is required. Experience selling audio visual products is preferred. Resume must reveal successful quota attainment and demonstrate the ability to increase the close rate and shorten the sales cycle.
A Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Business Technology is preferred
