We have an immediate opportunity for a District Manager of Sales in the Orange County, California.

District Managers (DM) oversee a team of Account Executives (AE) and act as a mentor to the sales force providing training, guidance and development. DMs are empowered to grow and enhance their respective teams as well as further relationships with new and existing customers. They work with Account Executives to fulfill Sales deals when needed. DMs will have customer facing when necessary and should also be capable of selling if called upon. DMs should possess the same consultative sales approach that AEs do and help the AEs in developing business plans in order to satisfy client/customer requirements. Having an established network of business relationships is a preferred so as to help introduce new and continued business opportunities.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

Manage a staff with diverse projects, working individually with Account Executives on the territories and leads.
Develop forecasts and manage those forecasts.
Plan and execute strategies to meet current sales projections and new business development.
Monitor business and technology trends within the industry.
Interface with suppliers, sales management and sales force.

Supervisory Duties:

Mentor and direct a team of Sales professionals.
Develop of a team continuously.
Conduct Performance Reviews.
Manage Budgets/P&L.
Oversee and manage internal workflow procedures.

Essential Education / Experience:

Must have 5+ years of technology industry experience, and 3+ years experience managing a sales team; including CRM experience.
Must possess a proven track record of sales over-achievement, a high level of professionalism as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
Possess and be able to expand extensive knowledge about vendor partnerships and FusionStorm solutions and be able to communicate these to the customers.
Bachelors Degree is required.
Essential Skills and Competencies:

Must provide strong leadership including vision and promoting/leading change.
Must be able to work Vendor & Partner channels to position District Sales team for best success; taking advantage of Partner programs, Events, and focused areas of Technology sales at any given time period.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present in a group setting
Professional self-starter, able to work collaboratively with others.
Project a professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions.
Good knowledge of our technology and the industry channel dynamics.
Possess a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow up skills.
Prefer a strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and Internet.
Must be able to drive 50% of the time within the territory assigned and occasional long distance travel may be required.
