Outside Sales Position - Firearms Industry


The Position: Regional Sales Manager for multi-state territory in manufacturer to dealer, heavy business development and high-volume sales. Traditional time and territory management skills, short-sales-cycle business development skills, and long-term B2B relationship skills are the hallmark of success for our top-earning sales pros.


Our top sales pros have earned $300,000 plus annually, after two years of selling with us. But more typically, an RSM will earn under $100,000 in year-one, and into the mid $100,000s in year-two. Success is derived from our uncapped commission schedule, and a defined larger territory. that is not reduced once established and can double in volume in year two and beyond, for higher income. Actual employment not a #1099 position unless already an FFL license holder.


Experience: Five years ideally in the Firearms industry, with firearms products, and firearms technical experience are essential components of success. All three are highly desired. Both sales experience and product experience are important, but formal education may be considered for satisfaction of an equal number of years of selling experience, for a candidate with a sales personality, and the motivation to expand their skills.


Former law enforcement officers, military veterans, range officers, gun store staff, and FFL dealers looking for a change of career are all encouraged to apply, as are sales pros from other industries who gave non-commercial firearms experience.     


Compensation: Commission sales. Possible first month guaranteed income.

 Commission sales experience, sales travel, and strong prospecting skills will provide the right sales pro with financial and career success. No fringe benefits, no Company paid insurance currently available. Company provided work shirts and business cards are provided.


Education: An MBA is desired; and a B.A., or B.S. is acceptable. Formal business and sales training is also desired. Highly experienced sales pros are welcome to apply, with other educational levels. Military training, law enforcement training, and other technical training are also acceptable for most applicants. 


Compliance: Concealed Carry Permit is desirable, and a squeaky clean, background is legally mandated by the ATF.  Responsible Party, ATF designation is anticipated.  Must be legal to work in the U.S. W-9, IC, if FFL licensed already, or W-4 employee, with valid motor vehicle operators license, reliable sales transportation, and a home office, cell phone and PC are required.


Travel: Limited to the assigned territory and typically controlled by the RSM. Day travel until market penetration is reached in all nearby markets to the RSM s home office. Milage is reimbursed at $0.65 per mile, with per diem for other required travel expenses.

Home office stipend and cell phone allowance provided. Report filing stipend paid monthly.
