Parman Energy is seeking a new General Manager! This role is responsible for the daily Sales and Operations of our Chattanooga location and ensures all areas of the Sales and Operations Departments are meeting Parman Energy guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Executes marketing plans to support the penetration of key market segments in collaboration with Sales and Operations teams and outside vendors
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets and manages performance goals accordingly. Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives
  • Recommends budgets to leadership; analyzes and controls expenditures of branch to conform to budgetary requirements. Accountability for profit and loss for the location and for achieving operating income goals
  • Manages branch operating expenses to include such items as employee overtime, office supply expenses, facility maintenance, etc. Works with corporate A/R to manage the location's credit and collections
  • Recommends the staffing levels needed to meet service, financial, and operational support demands. Effectively utilizes training programs to develop sales and operations expertise
  • Manages the day to day operations within the branch including safety, warehousing, and distribution
  • Manages sales, sales growth, and sales margins and collaborates with team to ensure order accuracy and properly schedule customer deliveries
  • Working with corporate inventory department and Operations Manager, manages branch inventory, daily hard goods inventory cycle counts, and warehouse appearance
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree required plus a minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field
  • Business, people, and project management experience
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, etc.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
