We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join the WD-40 Company team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing key accounts within the assigned Latin America region. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will independently and collaboratively develop 3- to 18-month key account sales and marketing plans aligned with corporate objectives. Your primary goal will be to exceed sales, EBITDA, and brand equity growth targets within the Latin America region.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans and channel strategies aligned with WD-40 Company's objectives and initiatives, providing accurate sales guidance to direct and third-party sales agents within the region.
  • Accountable for executing marketing and all associated programs within the region.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful attainment of essential functions and engage with all levels of customers, including region VP's, district managers, and sales forces.
  • Manage multiple contacts at the customer level, including ecommerce, product management, merchandising, supply/scorecard, AP, AR, and executives.
  • Lead sales, orders, and contract negotiations with assigned accounts in the region, ensuring results align with terms of business, selling prices, promotional support, and approved initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop special packs, promotions, and program development opportunities within the region's trade channels.
  • Utilize syndicated data and sales/promotional history to maximize sales at assigned customers, identify sales opportunities, and stay ahead of competitive threats.
  • Communicate regularly with third-party representatives to reinforce WD-40 Company's values and direction, establishing and monitoring goals and objectives consistent with meeting company sales, profit, and distribution targets.
  • Accurately forecast sales and provide input into cross-functional program/project development.
  • Plan and execute multiple, concurrent projects within budget and time constraints, implementing agreed-upon marketing strategies for incremental sales growth.
  • Foster positive and profitable relationships with customers, driving engagement and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of customers' key contacts, marketing strategies, and go-to-market promotional programs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis on sales and/or marketing.
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
  • 5+ years of experience leading regional sales management in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.

  • Proficiency in planning, evaluating, organizing, and controlling activities.
  • History of progressive responsibility and leadership in managing key accounts within the assigned region.
  • Proven track record of achieving stretch sales and growth targets.
  • Strong strategic planning and tactical execution skills within the region's trade channels.
  • Knowledge of P&L management preferred.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 ERP system is a plus.
  • Certified in Salesforce CRM required
