The Community Outreach Specialist, IntuneHealth, is a Sales Support Specialist responsible for the development and implementation of community outreach and engagement strategies in order to support the sales team in growing patient population at our Ft. Myers location. The incumbent in this role plays an essential part in promoting the IntuneHealth brand, fueling growth and supporting sales. This individual works closely with various stakeholders to identify new community contacts and organizations, coordinate outreach activities, build relationships with community leaders, organize events for the sales team, and manage marketing opportunities. The Community Outreach Specialist, IntuneHealth possesses a thorough understanding of healthcare programs and their regulatory marketing guidelines.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with Sales & Marketing teams to develop and implement strategies that support sales, contribute to the attainment of growth goals and inform the public and the community about the mission of the organization.
  • Identifies and develops relationships with new community contacts and organizations to pursue outreach engagement and promote brand growth.
  • Coordinates outreach activities, ensures materials are available at community and health events.
  • Develops and implements promotional plans for new outreach opportunities.
  • Creates and maintains the team’s sales schedule, ensures each sales rep has a minimum of four to five events per week.
  • Facilitates the launch of new marketing sites and schedules informational events.
  • Stays abreast of regulatory marketing guidelines governing healthcare programs. Shares updates and changes with leadership to ensure continued compliance.
  • Supports sales team in participating in select community events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Competent-level business acuity
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of general/core job-related functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques and methods
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of healthcare programs and regulatory marketing guidelines
  • Outstanding communication and people skills; keen focus on building sustainable relationships with community organizations
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines; adept at reconciling conflicting priorities within a demanding environment
  • Demonstrated initiative-taker with astute critical thinking skills
  • Ability to identify and develop relationships with community contacts and organizations
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, database, competent in other systems required for the position
  • Ability and willingness to travel locally up to 40% of the time; flexible to work evening, weekends and/or holidays as needed
  • Spoken and written fluency in English; bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred
  • This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED required
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years’ direct work experience in community outreach, sales or marketing required
  • Experience in healthcare marketing or community outreach is a plus
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, high-intellect, complex organization desired
  • This position requires possession and maintenance of a current, valid Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
