Job Summary:

The Solar Sales Closer will play a critical role in driving the growth of our solar energy business. You will be responsible for closing sales opportunities and achieving revenue targets by effectively communicating the benefits of solar energy solutions to potential customers. This is a commission-based position, offering unlimited earning potential based on your sales performance.

Responsibilities:

Prospect, identify, and qualify leads through various channels, including referrals, cold calling, networking events, and online sources.

Conduct in-depth consultations with potential customers to understand their energy needs, assess their property's solar potential, and present customized solar energy solutions.

Deliver compelling sales presentations that effectively articulate the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and long-term return on investment.

Address customer concerns, objections, and questions, providing accurate and detailed information to instill confidence in our products and services.

Prepare accurate and competitive sales quotes and proposals, ensuring they meet customer requirements and align with company pricing guidelines.

Negotiate and close sales agreements with customers, securing signed contracts and necessary documentation.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, solar technology advancements, and incentive programs to effectively position our offerings in the market.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deal progress using CRM software.

Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales team's success.

Qualifications:

Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the solar energy industry or related field.

Strong understanding of solar energy systems, including solar panels, inverters, batteries, and associated components.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential customers.

Persuasive and influential negotiation abilities, with the capacity to overcome objections and close deals effectively.

Self-motivated and target-driven, with a relentless focus on achieving and exceeding sales goals.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple leads simultaneously.

Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer interactions and track sales performance.

Knowledge of local regulations, permits, and incentive programs related to solar installations (specific to the target market) is a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
