Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED, College Degree a plus.
- Three or more years of experience in fire alarm sales, design, and/or project management.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- NICET level I or II in Fire Alarm systems.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 and 72.
- Knowledge of construction and the processes and procedures that are involved in each project from beginning to end.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Advanced written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Well-developed active listening, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning skills.
- Have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable DMV record.
- Passing a pre-employment drug test, as well as background and reference check.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate new and nurture existing client relationships to define their needs and collaboratively develop solutions.
- Employ company outlined sales and marketing strategies and expectations for prompt qualification and follow up on identified opportunity leads, and to establish and maintain continuous client contact.
· Review client project scope, plans, and specifications against applicable building codes and standards to develop client proposals.
- Be familiar with NFPA 72 and 2001 as they relate to clean agent suppression systems and fire alarm systems, as well as bi-directional amplification systems, security/intrusion systems, CCTV systems, access control systems, area of rescue system, nurse call systems, and other low voltage type systems.
- Maintain contact with and expand AFPG’s list of qualified subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain an active proposal pipeline that supports established sales goals.
- Provide constructive feedback to aid improvement of company business processes and systems to maintain an industry-best experience for team members and clients.
- Submit all required sales reports, data, expenses, and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner.
- Coordinate with Design and Operations Departments to ensure proper transition at each phase of project development and execution.
- Perform cross-functional duties relating to Sales, Estimating, and Project Management as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
