Summary
This is primarily an office position. Employees’ who hold this position have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task. Employees are responsible for assisting Area and Regional Sales Managers in processing new product orders, following product through the repair process, and monitoring inventory, via an ERP tracking system.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Primary contact for customers and Field Sales Representatives, Regional Sales Managers of the Perfect Welding Business Unit
  • Create quotes for customers and sales representatives
  • Receive and review customer purchase orders for accuracy, including review of Terms and Conditions
  • Enter customers purchase orders into BaaN in OK point quality
  • Send order acknowledgement to customers
  • Process, send, and file invoices after shipment
  • Responsible for consignment requests and returns and track consignment shipment
Requirements
  • Associates Degree from accredited college or university preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in Purchasing or Order Processing preferred
  • Must be authorized to work and travel in the U.S. and Internationally
  • Some U.S. and International travel may be required
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis in data entry
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP) preferred
