Strom Minnesota is currently looking for an Inside Sales Specialist for out client in the west metro.
Inside Sales Specialist
Job Description: The primary objective of this position is managing assigned customer accounts and developing business at prospective accounts to achieve sales goals. Other duties include:
- Conduct research to identify and contact prospects for the purposes of creating sales opportunities and expanding new markets
- Partner and work collaboratively with Field Account Managers to develop call plans, pursuit strategies, customer relationship management and develop solutions to customer/prospect inquiries
- Manage the sales process from receiving leads and generating new ones to closing sales; includes product presentations & demonstrations, developing competitive quotes, and pursuing regular customer follow-up
- Use CRM on daily basis to document communication with contacts, process leads and opportunities, and forecast sales
- Maintain knowledge in relation to technical performance & specifications of our products to answer customer inquiries, present solutions and build quotes/proposals
- Work cross functionally with Customer Service to process customer orders and requests for quotes timely and accurately and ensure on-time and accurate product shipments in accordance with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities
- Maintain awareness of general sales trends in the weighing industry. Train customers, as needed, on Company products and services through on site visits, webinars, service schools and trade show participation
- Participate in regional industry related organizations and participate at trade shows
- Other duties may include committee participation in areas of new product development, marketing, customer service, and quality
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or Engineering or other related degree
- 2+ years of diversified inside and/or outside sales experience
- 1+ years working with Salesforce, Microsoft or other CRM
- Ability to travel 10%-20% domestic as required
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office 365
- Proficient with social media
- Create and edit spreadsheets
- Generate professional quotes & proposals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,963.88 - $54,945.74 per year
