Sales Manager to drive long-term profitable growth within the Investment Castings department in addition to prospecting and developing new customer relationships to grow sales. This position is responsible for managing sales of the company’s products and services within a defined geographic area. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, development and management of sales personnel. Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short-and long-term sales and earnings. Sets local and regional sales quotas, guides and motivates sales support staff and representatives, and advise company about sales performance.


This Position Will:


  • Assist in the development of annual strategic sales plan for company’s diverse range of technical products.
  • Monitor and provide the best customer support; including after sales service and resolve complaints as per company guidelines and standards.
  • Work with all personnel and outside contacts to fulfill customer’s requirements and achieve company goals.
  • Review operational records and reports to project sales; determine profitability by aligning with revenue quotas for existing customers and share the results with the supervisor.
  • Monitor and maintain all open quotes and key opportunities; negotiate as necessary to secure the contracts.
  • Issue quotations for all new part inquiries; review rates (determine price schedules and discount rates) and create sales or service contracts for products or services.
  • Continually compile market information/intelligence on dedicated regions with a view to providing market feedback to assist in the shaping of future company strategy and product development.
  • Confer or consult with department heads to secure technical information about the products as per the customer specifications.
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities by in-person meetings with customers and partners.
  • Participate and join trade associations; represent the company at trade shows and provide product information to customers.
  • Assist in the development of sales tools such as literature, brochures, videos, newsletters and product catalogues.
  • Assist in advertising and promotional efforts including trade shows, magazine ads, mailings, company website development, product pricing, and benchmarking.
  • Identify and investigate growth opportunities for the company with our customers and look for new market development opportunities.
  • Track and report sales statistics and status of pending contracts for personal and team targets for monthly revenue accounting, forecast and activity.
  • Ensure services are in compliance with professional and company policy standards.
  • Manages buy and selling of trade business

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a Sales field, with 3 years of a Sales leadership role preferred
  • Experience in Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Medical, Investment/Die/Sand Castings
  • A solid grasp of key sales metrics and performance measures
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact and interface with a variety of people at all levels inside and outside the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
