Description
The Regional Sales Director will initially be a selling manager on commission only. This position is a performance based position for the first 90-120 days. You want to build and manage a rep force then prove you can sell. After meeting certain very obtainable milestones this position will go to a salaried position as Sales Director for that territory. We will assist in all sales and hiring and while you are proving yourself you will also get an override on the reps in your territory we hire.
As a selling manager you will be primarily responsible for ad sales revenue for a variety of sites that cater towards home improvement. The position will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing. Once you move from commission to salary you will have a base plus a 2% override on all reps in the given territory allowing you to make a significant income while have stability in a paycheck.
Managerial Responsibilities
Design a sales strategy for the territory being accountable to meet or exceed quotas
Hire new reps for the given territory
Sales Forecasting
Training of new reps in conjunction with VP of Sales
Some travel between states to sell and assist reps in training and closing deals
Selling Responsibilities
Prospect and qualify leads via telemarketing, referrals, etc., to obtain maximum sales and potential volume from all markets in assigned territory. Set up appointments and make sales presentations. Understand and maintain current knowledge on the companys products, services, features, benefits and applications for their given services and systems.
Experience
3-5+ years outside B2B sales
1-2+ years Sales Management
Start up experience is a plus
Proven history of working with C-Suite or Sr. level executives
Strong outside closing skills, cold calling and prospecting in a way that generates a strong number of sales presentations, proposals and revenues
Skills
Face-to-Face sales experience
Must have great follow up skills (email, phone, voicemail, etc.)
Strong background in sales and lead generation
Results driven with desire to succeed
Must be articulate, a self starter, possess high energy and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
Willingness to make 25-50 outbound calls a day with detailed follow up and the ability to manage both inside and outside sales schedules
Some business travel may be required.

Compensation
100% commission based with bonus structure. Commission start at 25% of sales and go as high as 35%. Products range from $2,400 to $10,000+.....Base Salary and overrides after milestones are met.
