Education and Background:
MUST HAVE 8+ YEARS DATA WAREHOUSING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
BS degree in a business-related field (Marketing, Sales, Management, Communications, Computer Science, or MIS).
Demonstrated success in sales: 100%+ quota attainment --- successful track record in exceeding sales goals
Demonstrated success managing a large account relationship.
Demonstrated success developing new account opportunities.
Industry knowledge required. This could be obtained from selling into a particular desirable industry or from actually working in a particular industry.
Experience in selling data warehousing or BI software applications specifically in the database space.
Some technical knowledge of hardware is necessary (other applicable includes ERP sales, Data Transformation sales).
Experience in selling and articulating the value of Professional Services to customers.
