Job Description Summary:

The AVP of Sales for the Northeast will lead sales and business development strategy for the Northeast region. They will develop & coordinate an aligned plan, tactics, and solutions with key stakeholders across the business. The objective is to drive new business growth while maintaining and developing existing clients in their use of egnite solutions.

Job Description:

  • Achievement of annual sales and revenue goals
    • Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities in the hospitals and health systems with structural heart programs through existing relationships, cold calling, attending industry trade shows, working with business partners and leveraging relationships with key opinion leaders in the industry.
    • Develop, drive and mature a set of key top opportunities to achieve sales targets.
    • Aggressively and dynamically work each opportunity with thorough, complete and repetitive customer meetings to ensure our proposal is compelling and demonstrates an understanding of the customer's objectives, their business challenges and how we uniquely solve these.
  • Lead the sales cycle
    • Develop winning sales strategies by leading and working in a team-oriented selling environment that includes product, clinical experts and egnite leadership.
    • Develop competency in building and delivering client-facing presentations and demonstrations.
    • Align internal and customer resources to address customer needs and ensure successful integration and adoption of egnite solutions
    • Proactively foster relationships with key executive, economic and clinical decision makers to drive awareness of egnite and the value we offer
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients
    • Conduct business planning activities and reviews with customer base including quarterly business reviews in conjunction with the client success team
    • Cultivate relationship of trust and reputation of competency by delivering expert information, high quality support and results
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts for the territory- including the product, time to close and value while communicating clearly and effectively regarding risk and an action plan
  • Market and competitive awareness
    • Understand the trends in the overall market, the competition and how to differentiate our offering
    • Understand customer specific business goals, strategy, financials and challenges

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 10 years healthcare technology or medical device sales
  • Proven track record of sales to the C-suite and physician leaders in health systems and/or heart programs

Skills and abilities
  • Collaboration to proactively foster relationships with key executive, economic and clinical decision makers, as well as internal stakeholders required
  • Ability to build strong business acumen to represent the business value proposition required
  • Ability to think strategically. Be self-directed demonstrating high degree of initiative and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to be effective in selling value proposition of egnite and its products and solutions
  • Customer engagement skills to conduct business planning activities and reviews with customer base, field sales and support organizations
  • Ability to understand customer needs and apply appropriate solutions
  • Must have highly developed interpersonal / people skills and demonstrated record of influence management with key provider decision makers
  • Articulate and effective communicator – written & verbal – all levels
  • Strong presentation skills, both preparing and delivering
  • Ability to manage the sales process for service oriented programs
  • Knowledge / understanding of: Business concepts & issues; Complex market issues; Understand organization dynamics; Competitive threats; Intra-company differences
  • Must have strong team skills, both building and participating, strong networking skills, confident and poised with key customer decision makers
  • High sense of urgency and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to travel, including air travel on a routine basis required
